Sept 5 WOMEN'S Game against Germany WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay for those of you who wanted to see the Women's Game and couldn't get to it. The Women beat Germany 4 - 0. Anna Smither made the FIRST Goal (so proud of her)... than Liza Offreda made the 2nd..., than Felicia Schroeder made the 3rd and 4th with Penalty Kicks. It was amazing to say the least. We had issues with being offsides alot in the first half --- so we probably could have had more goals in the first half if that had not been an issue. Frustration all around from players as well as coaches.
Okay all next issue to address the WEBSITE. I hear that you were having problems with the site not working so I went and asked the multimedia folks. This is the website that they gave me that takes LIVE footage. So try this one out??? I don't know if it works but if it doesn't I don''t know what to tell you but let me know if it doesn't.

This is fun... Taiwan assigns all TEAMS Fans to come and route for the TEAM --- These are our "RENT A FANS" and they are amazing. So loyal and they come with Flags to cheer us on.

To say that I cried when the the Teams came onto the field and they played the National Anthem is an understatement. The feeling of pride was just overwhelming. Here are the pictures of the day. Lee was responsible for picture taking. I thought he took more -- but his comment was there are not many but they are GOOD. :o) Gotta love him. Tell everyone and remember the MEN play tomorrow Sept 6 at 2:30 pm (Sept 6 at 2:30 am EST) Good luck with that for some of you :o) Hope the website works.... :o( Let me know) The women play again on Sept 7 at 9:30 am (EST Sept 6 at 9:30pm)

GO FOR GOLD
For now I'm off but stay tuned....... MEG

  3. Thank you for keeping us all posted, Meg. I saw a bit of the opening ceremonies last night and it looked amazing. What a life-changing event this must be for Anna. She is truly blessed to have this gift and a family that supports her as you and Lee do.

Cannot wait to hear more updates!
